KHUVSGUL AIMAG RECEIVES OVER 100 THOUSAND TOURISTS
The number of foreign and domestic tourists visiting Khuvsgul aimag, one of the main tourist attraction in Mongolia, is increasing year-by-year. The aimag received some 92147 domestic and 8998 foreign tourists as of September, 2018. With aim of increasing the number of tourists, some events such as ice festival, Tsaatan festival, yak festival and so forth have been regularized and 50-100 complexes are being constructed. A specific plan for increasing the tourists’ number will be carried out in the future.
